From windowsill to the allotment, and finally covered by a fleece for extra protection from a late frost.

The temperature inside a polytunnel can drop below zero if there is frost outside, so there is a risk to moving heat sensitive plants outside too early. On the plus side, our polytunnel gets lots of light, and combined with warm daytime growing conditions, can considerably accelerate growth.

The picture shows our tomato plants that were moved in place this weekend.
