The weather was kind this weekend. Having received our spring garlic pack from The Garlic Farm during the week, the weather was good enough to plant it out on Sunday.
My plot has sandy soil, and I like to plant my garlic cloves quite deep, a good few centimetres below the surface. I think this helps the roots find water.
My only slight worry is the temperature of the soil. It felt cold to the touch, so I hope the garlic can survive the conditions before the spring sun arrives.
